Paruvu is an Indian Telugu-language crime thriller streaming television series directed by Siddharth Naidu and Vadlpati Rajashekar. Produced by Vishnu Prasad Laggisetty and Susmitha Konidela through Gold Box Entertainment,[1][2] the series featured Nivetha Pethuraj, Naresh Agastya andNagendra Babu in primary roles.[3] Paruvu is based on the honour killing in India and was premiered on 14 June 2024 on ZEE5.[4][5]

Synopsis
editIn Paruvu, which translates to "Honor," star-crossed lovers break tradition and elope. Back in their hometown, a dark secret awaits, forcing them to fight for their lives. Trapped in a web of clan rivalries, fueled by pride, politics, and social status, they face a desperate struggle. With only their wits and a touch of luck, they must survive a dangerous 24 hours. Unforeseen twists and turns threaten not only their existence but also the core of their community.

Production
editThe series was announced as a part of ZEE5s future slate of content in June 2022.[8][9] Well known filmmaker Pavan Sadineni stepped in as the show runner for the series.[10][11]
Release
editThe series is scheduled for a worldwide release on 14 June 14, 2024.[12] It was also dubbed and released in Tamil.[13]
