Nomaua waikanae is a species of Physoglenidae spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1990 by Ray Forster from male and female specimens.[2] The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum.[1]
Description
editThe male is recorded at 4.79mm in length whereas the female is 3.64mm.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Wellington, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".[3]
