Nomaua taranga is a species of Physoglenidae spider endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 2009 by Mike Fitzgerald and Phil Sirvid from male and female specimens.[1] The holotype is stored in Te Papa Museum under registration number AS.001500.[2]
Description
editThe male is recorded at 3.39mm in length whereas the female is 3.31mm.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Hen Island in New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend", "Island Endemic" and "One Location".[3]
