Next Private B.V. is a holding company incorporated under Dutch law which owns 95.3% of the multinational group Altice Europe and 12.3% of the 4th largest American cable operator Altice USA. It is the personal holding company of French-Israeli businessman Patrick Drahi.[1][2][3]

History
editIn September 2020, Next Private, Patrick Drahi's personal holding company, acquired the interests it did not hold in Altice Europe, for €2.5 billion, in order to delist the latter from its stock market listing.[4][5] In December 2020, Next Private raises its offer for Altice Europe by 30% to €5.35.[6]
At the end of January 2021, Patrick Drahi's takeover bid, via his holding company Next Private, enabled him to acquire 92.02% of Altice Europe's capital, in a deal costing €3.1 billion.[7] The holding company is itself owned by Next Alt S.à R.L., a Luxembourg-based company wholly owned by Patrick Drahi.[8]
