Nenu Super Woman is a Telugu language business reality television series featuring women participants from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, India.[1] Conceptualized by Meghana Gorukanti Jupally,[2] the participants pitch their business ideas to a panel of successful entrepreneurs, known as "Angels", who act as mentors, guides, and potential investors, offering financial aid and expertise to the participants.[3][4]

The show was first announced in January 2023, and was launched on 21 July 2023 on Aha.[5][6]

First week

The Angels, including Deepa Dodla, Sudhakar Reddy, Dr. Sindhura Narayana, Sridhar Gadhi, Rohit Chennamaneni, and Renuka Bodla,[7] made an investment of INR 1.35 crore in the startup endeavors of four women.[8] Prathima Vishwanath, the founder of Ammamma's, challenged age-related stereotypes by securing support for her food brand.[9]

Second week

In the show's second week, the series had garnered INR 1.65 crore in investments.[10] This platform, presented by Aha in partnership with WE Hub - Government of Telangana, offers a space for women to start their businesses. The startups, such as Vapra, and Zithara, have secured substantial funding.[11]

Third week

In the third week,[12] a lineup of entrepreneurs stepped onto the stage to present their ideas. Among them was Rachana Tripathi, from CCMB, Hyderabad. Rachana's venture, Bioras Pharma, aims to make testing accessible nationwide through biochemical parameter devices enhanced by artificial intelligence and biochemistry. Chetana Priyanka, the founder of Forward Parcel, presented her parcel forwarding service for the Indian diaspora. Amrutha Varshini, founded of Doggy Ville, presented her business providing cage-free boarding, grooming, and other animal care. Sridevi, the founder of Tummy Friendly Foods, presented her culinary and nutrition business to for children with organic food options.[13]

Format

Each season of Nenu Super Woman features 40 women entrepreneurs who present their business ideas to the Angels. The episodes follow a structured format:

  • The Angels select two "Super Women" for each episode using the "Super Cube," which contains logos and brand names of all 40 products/businesses.
  • The host introduces the chosen Super women and their businesses.
  • The Super women enter the pitch zone and present their business ideas.
  • During the pitch, the companions of the pitcher are seated in a glass room, observing the presentation.
  • The Angels show their interest in the businesses using a graphic representation on their screens.

  • Dodla Deepa Reddy: Director at Pro Life Nutraceuticals Pvt. Ltd. and Designated Partner at Dodla Diaries

  • Dr. Sindhu Narayana: Managing Director of the Narayana Group
  • Sridhar Gadhi: Founder & Executive Chairman of Quantela Inc.
  • Karan Bajaj: CEO of Bajaj Electronics

The show is hosted by Sreerama Chandra,[14] an Indian playback singer and actor known for his participation in Indian reality shows.
