Nand Kunverbaji, known as Maharani Bai Shri Nand Kunverbaji Sahiba or Maharani of Gondal (1867 - 9 March 1936), was an Indian queen consort. She was born in Dharampur, the second daughter of H.H. Maharana Shri Narayandevji Ramdevji Rana Sahib (1860–1891), Raja of Dharampur, and his second wife, H.H. Chhasatia Rani Bai Shri Gulab Kunverba, daughter of Sardar Bhagubava Sahib of Dharampur. On 3 June 1881 she married HH Thakor Saheb Sir Bhagwatsinghji Sagramji, Thakor of Gondal.[1][2][3] For being the first consort of a ruling maharaja to cross the "black water", she received the Imperial Order of the Crown of India by Queen Victoria in 1889.[4][5][6]
