Monzambano (Upper Mantovano: Mosambà) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Mantua in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 120 kilometres (75 mi) east of Milan and about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northwest of Mantua. Its frazione of Castellaro Lagusello is one of I Borghi più belli d'Italia ("The most beautiful villages of Italy").[3]

It is home to one or more prehistoric pile-dwelling (or stilt house) settlements that are part of the Prehistoric Pile dwellings around the Alps UNESCO World Heritage Site.[4]
