Ministry of Health (Koshi Province)

The Ministry of Health is a governmental body of Koshi Province in charge of formulation, implementation and monitoring of action plans related to the development and management of manpower related to health services, population, immigration and family planning in the Province level.[2]

Overview

After Nepal was transformed into a federal structure as envisioned by the Constitution of Nepal, according to the provisions related to the Provincial Executive in Part 13 of the Constitution, the Provincial Council of Ministers was formed on 15 February 2018.[3][4]

The Ministry of Social Development was divided and the Ministry of Health was established on 6 February 2022[5] with the responsibility of carrying out various activities in accordance with national standards in coordination with the union and local level.[6][7][8]
