Michael Butler Humphreys[citation needed] (born April 10, 1967) is a former Major League Baseball player. Humphreys played for the New York Yankees from 1991 to 1993. He batted and threw right-handed.

Amateur career
editHumphreys played collegiately for the Texas Tech Red Raiders.[citation needed] In 1987, he played collegiate summer baseball with the Orleans Cardinals of the Cape Cod Baseball League and was named a league all-star.[1][2]
Professional career
editHe was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 15th round of the 1988 MLB draft.[citation needed] He then went on to play for the New York Yankees.
Personal
editHis son, Zack, was a catcher for the TCU Horned Frogs.[citation needed]
He was signed as a free agent on 7/13/2021 by the Los Angeles Angels. He currently plays for the Rocket City Trash Pandas (AA-level minor league team for the Angels) in Madison, Alabama.
