Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1968 by Cecil Wilton from female specimens collected in Masterton. The holotype is stored at Otago Museum.[1]
Description
editThe female is recorded at 12.3mm in length. The carapace and legs are dark orange. The abdomen is purplish grey.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Masterton, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Data Deficient" with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size", "Data Poor: Trend" and "One Location".[2]
