Mette Tranborg (born 1 January 1996) is a Danish handball player for Team Esbjerg and the Danish national team.[1][2][3]

Club career edit

Mette Tranborg broke though the SK Aarhus first team at the age of 16. She was the first player in Danish league to be excempted from the minimum age requirements to play.[4] She was awarded the Best Female Talent in the Danish league in the 2014/2015 season.[5]

In 2017 she switched to league rivals Odense Håndbold, where she was one of the key players for 2.5 seasons. She missed the last half season due to a Cruciate ligament injury.

In 2020 she switched to Team Esbjerg.
