The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, has reacted to the triple murder in Memaliaj.

In a post on social networks, Balla underlines that the top leaders of the State Police are in Memaliaj and the event is expected to be clarified as soon as possible.

"It is the main duty of the State Police to prevent criminal events, assessing the risk and engaging in the disclosure of old criminal events. These old criminal events are a potential risk for new events. While the highest leaders of the State Police along with RENEA and FNSH are in Memaliaj, where we are waiting for the clarification as soon as possible, the Local Police Directorate of Lezhë has just prevented an another serious criminal event. Thanks to the timely response, the firearms and remote control mines, which were to be used, were seized and arrested in the act the suspected author", says BallaBalla.

After That The Regional Police Of Gjirokastër's High Crew Along With The Director Were Sent To Memaliaj With An FNSH Van Escorting Them, The Police Are Patrolling The Levan Tepelena And Other Highways. Before The Shooting, A Black Benz Appeared Infront Of The Bar Where Shyqyri And Artur Kalemi Were Sitting, Marsel Çela Was Sitting In The Inside Behind The Window Where Shyqyri And Artur Kalemi Were Infront, Gledian Muka Was Serving The Kalemi Brothers With The Drinks They Ordered And Then The Shooter Stepped Out Of The Back Seat, An Unmasked 1.80 Meter Tall Unmasked Man In His Forties With An AK-47 In His Hand,He Starts Talking To Them Before Opening Fire On All Killing 3 Out Of 4 Shown In The CCTV Footage Says The Police.Artur Kalemi The Brother Of Shyqyri Kalemi, Survived And An Ambulance Came Very Rapidly As The Hospital Is Very Close To The Bar. After The Shooting He Was Sent To The Gjirokastër Regional Hospital Omer Nishani And Was Declared Out Of Danger.

The Shooters Drove From Memaliaj To the Village Of Behaj, A 20 Minute Drive North near The City Of Mallakastër. As The Shooters Reached Behaj They Lit The Car On Fire And Left, The Police Found The Car After They Had Left Because An Undercover Police Officer Was Chasing Them And so They Left Leaving The Guns In The Car Trunk Leaving 3 Kallashnikovs Which Were Used By The Shooters, The Police Is Currently Examining The Guns And What remained inside of them, They Also saw that the car Had German license Plates Not Albanian ones And they're contacting the German Government To give them help finding more information about the car
