Melkari-ye Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان ملکاری شرقی) is in Zab District of Mirabad County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Nuaveh,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 299 in 72 households.[3]

In 2022, the former Vazineh District was separated from Sardasht County in the establishment of Mirabad County, which was divided into two districts and two rural districts, with Mirabad as its capital and only city.[2]
