Mayar Jonjal (Bengali: মায়ার জঞ্জাল), (English: Debris of Desire) is a 2023 Bangladeshi-Indian joint venture film directed by Indranil Roychowdhury. The film based on two stories Bishakto Prem and Subala by Manik Bandopadhyay. The film simultaneously released on 24 February 2023 in Bangladesh and India.[1][2][3][4]

Plot
editA criminal finds himself enamored with a prostitute and hatches a scheme to elope with her earnings. However, his path takes an unexpected turn when he crosses paths with a recently unemployed factory worker, who is determined to prevent his wife from taking a job as a housemaid.
