Mauricio Umansky (born June 25, 1970)[1] is a real estate agent, businessman and television personality.[2] He is the co-founder[3] and chief executive officer of The Agency.[4][5][6] He is married to, but separated from, actress and television personality Kyle Richards.

Early life edit

Umansky was raised in Mexico.[7] He moved from Mexico City to Los Angeles at a young age.[8] He had neutropenia.[9]

Career edit

Umansky co-founded The Agency, which launched in September 2011, with Blair Chang and Billy Rose. Previously, he had worked at Hilton & Hyland.[10] Umansky wrote the book The Dealmaker: How to Succeed in Business & Life Through Dedication, Determination & Disruption.[11]

Umansky has appeared in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Buying Beverly Hills and Dancing with the Stars.

Umansky and Kyle Richards met in 1994 at a club and got married on January 20, 1996. The couple's three daughters were born in 1996, 2000 and 2008.[10] Umansky and Richards had a home in Bel Air.[12] The couple have separated, but are said to be living together despite their differences.[13]
