Mark Sewards is a British politician who has served as Member of Parliament for Leeds South West and Morley since 2024.[1][2] He has also served as a Labour councillor for the Leeds City Council ward of Farnley and Wortley since 2022. In the 2017 and 2019 UK general elections, Sewards campaigned in the Harrogate and Knaresborough constituency, where he was defeated by the Conservatives on both occasions.

His wife, Alice Smart, has been a Labour councillor for Armley since 2014. Mark also has a son, Oscar Theodore Sewards, who was born on 11 October 2021.
