Manon Uffren (born 2 June 1997 Avignon) is a French footballer. She currently plays as a midfielder for FC Nantes.

Biography

Manon Uffren started playing football at the age of 5, in the Eygalières club. She played in a men's team. In July 2012, she joined the Monteux-Vaucluse Women's Football Club, where she played in the second division. She then had her first selections in the national team, from 2013, in the U16 and U17 women's team.[1] She enrolled in sports studies at the Pôle France femmes de football.[2]

In July 2014, she joined Montpellier Hérault Sport Club, where she played her first match with the senior team against Muret, on January 24, 2015, in the round of 16 of the Cup of France: she scored a goal.[3]

She was selected in the France U19 team which won the 2016 European Women's Under-19 Championship.[4]

In January 2017, she joined Dijon Football Côte-d'Or; she returned to MHSC in July, where she signed her first professional contract.[5] In 2018, she was selected for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Chelsea, but lost by a score of three goals to one. In December 2019, having only played one match at MHSC since the start of the season, she was loaned to AS Saint-Étienne.[6] In July 2020, she signed with the club, she participated in its rise to the first division. She left the club after becoming captain of the team, at the end of the 2021/2022 season,[7] during which she scored a goal in the derby against Lyon on March 12.[8] She joined FC Nantes in January 2024.[9][10][11][12]
