The Malawi Broadcasting Corporation is a state-run radio and television company in Malawi. It was founded in 1964. It has two radio stations, Radio 1 and Radio 2, and transmits on FM, Medium Wave and Shortwave frequencies and Online.

It also runs the national television station, Television Malawi.
Its headquarters is in Blantyre, Malawi.

An agreement was signed with the BBC in late 2001 where MBC provided the maintenance for the relays of the BBC World Service in the country.[1]

Hassan Goba edit
In 2017, one of the station's notable veteran broadcaster, Hassan Goba, left the company.[2]
Geoffrey Kapusa edit
In 2012, veteran broadcaster, Geoffrey Kapusa, who was known to have started a music programme called Music Splash retired from the company after working over 20 years.
