Lucía Chacón Hechavarría (13 December 1911 – 22 July 2024) was a Cuban supercentenarian. When she died she was the oldest woman in the country and one of the oldest in the world.[1]

Biography
editLucía Chacón Hechavarría had a large family, with several children, 42 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.[2]
She was born in 1911 in the town of El Grillo.[3] She died at the age of 112 years and 222 days in her hometown of Santiago de Cuba.[4]
