Kurt Joseph Ucko (August 25, 1921 – July 2, 2018)[1][2][3][4][5] was an American field hockey player since 1932[1][6] who qualified for the 1952 Summer Olympics[1][6] and competed in the 1956 Summer Olympics,[1][6][7] coming from Packanack Lake, New Jersey,[7][8] with his brother Felix Alfred Ucko,[1][7][9] and got 11th place.[1][6] He also played for the New York Field Hockey Club.[1][6] He created Ucko Machine Tools, Inc. and the North Jersey Men’s Field Hockey Club.[1] He was born in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany[6] to American parents[1][6] and died in South Orange[2][6] or Maplewood, New Jersey.[2][4] He was married to Martha Kribben Ucko (1923 – August 9, 2008) for 61 years.[10][11]
