Kenny Jacobs is an Irish businessman, born in Cork.[1] Jacobs graduated from University College Cork in 1997 with a degree in commerce.[2] He was announced as CEO of the DAA in November 2022, and began in January 2023.
His previous roles included Chief Marketing Officer at Ryanair.[3] When Jacobs arrived at Ryanair in 2014, it was as part of a move by the airline to – as Michael O’Leary had put it – “stop unnecessarily pissing people off”.[4]
He has also worked for major companies including the Metro Group, MoneySuperMarket, and Tesco in Ireland and the UK.[5]
