editIn Brazil, the fossil of species indefinite of the genus Kawizophyllum, was located on outcrop Morro Papaléo in the city of Mariana Pimentel. They are in the geopark Paleorrota in Rio Bonito Formation and date from Sakmarian at Permian.[1]
