Kabir Hossain (c. April 14, 1938 – May 3, 2023) was a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician who served as a Member of Parliament for the Rajshahi-5 constituency.[1]

Early and personal life edit
Hossain lived an extraordinary life in the suburbs of Rajshahi with his wife, son and two daughters.
Career edit
Hossain was elected to parliament from Rajshahi-5 as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 2001.[2]
Death edit
On May 3, 2023, Hossain, age 85, was pronounced dead at the Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in Rajshahi[3] due to old age. According to a statement made by Mossaddique Hossain Bulbul, BNP's forest and environment affairs secretary, Hossain had been suffering from various old-age complications, including diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure.
