Early life
editGarcía Ruiz is a native of Morelia.[1][2] She began playing tennis at the age of four.[3] In her youth, she represented the Club Deportivo Futurama in Aguascalientes[4] before moving to the Academia Tenis CONADE in Acapulco.[5][6]
College career
editIn 2022, she began playing collegiate tennis for the Oklahoma Sooners.[7][8] She was twice named a Big 12 Tennis Player of the Week in 2024.[9][10]
Professional career
editIn August 2024, she made her WTA doubles debut with a wildcard into the main draw of the Monterrey Open with compatriot Ana Karen Guadiana Campos.[11] She also received a wildcard into the singles qualifying competition where she defeated Natalija Stevanovic.
