Jacqueline Cron, known professsionally as Jac Cron, is an American filmmaker best known for her feature debut, Chestnut.[1]

Early life and education
editCron was born and raised in New York and she graduated from Friends Academy in 2011[2]. She attended Drexel University.[1]
Career
editIn 2020, Cron's short film House Sit screened at the Philadelphia Independent Film Festival and the San Francisco Independent Film Festival. For the short, she was awarded Best Director at the Be Epic! London International Film Festival.[3]
Cron's debut feature, Chestnut, starring Natalia Dyer, Rachel Keller, and Danny Ramirez as a love triangle, premiered at the 2023 Frameline Film Festival. The film received a 2024 theatrical release, distributed by Utopia.[4][5]
