Department of English

Started in 1994, the department offered the Part II English course for all UG programmes till 2005. As of 2024, it offers BA and MA English (Autonomous).

Event

A national conference concerning biotechnology was held at the college.[10]

Sports

The college participates in sports such as interzonal cricket[11] and football, where it placed third in 2017.[12]
