Itimad Khorshid (August 29, 1935 - June 27, 2021), an Egyptian film producer. She worked in film development in Egypt.

Her marriage to Salah Nasr

edit

Her story sparked a lot of controversy after information was received about the Egyptian Intelligence Director Salah Nasr forcing her husband Ahmed Khorshid to divorce her so that he could marry her. She indicated in a television interview [1]that Nasr threatened her husband with admitting him to a mental hospital if he refused to divorce her, so she convinced him to do so out of fear for him and their children. He was the witness to their marriage contract, even though she was pregnant with her son "Adham".

She wrote a book about the deviations of Salah Nasr, in which she reveals the deviant practices of the Intelligence Director and his suspicious relationships with Egyptian movie stars and his exploitation of them in intelligence activities.

Some people believed that she was the mother of the Egyptian artist Omar Khorshid, but the truth is that she was his father's wife, and he only lived with her for a very short period of his childhood, after which he moved to live with his mother.

On the evening of Sunday, June 27, 2021, she passed away after a struggle with illness, and doctors described the cause of death as pulmonary failure. She was buried in the family cemetery on the Al-Wahat Road, west of Giza.[2]
