Imad 4 (in Arbia: عماد 4) is a Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement underground base unveiled in August 2024. It is the first tactical and secret airbase for the Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement that accommodates the fighters, large rocket ,and missile launchpads.[1][2]

The facility features a convoluted tunnel network, missile launchpads, and blast doors opening outwards that could be used for launching the projectiles towards predetermined targets. This base also benefits from a comprehensive logistics team, as well as dedicated construction, security, and backup launch teams.[3]

Nomination

edit

The name of this base refer to Imad Mughniyeh, a Hezbollah commander killed in 2008.[4]
