Ilkhchi (Persian: ایلخچی)[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Ilkhchi District of Osku County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4] Ilkhchi is located to the south east of Tabriz, the capital city of the province.[5]

Demographics

editAt the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 13,927 in 4,014 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 15,231 people in 4,735 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 16,574 people in 5,500 households.[2]
