Hosts
editHolostephanus dubinini uses several fish and molluscs as intermediate hosts:
- Common bream (Abramis brama)[2]
- Common bleak (Alburnus alburnus)[1]
- Faucet snail (Bithynia tentaculata)[3]
- Gudgeon (Gobio gobio)
- Guppy (Poecilia reticulata)
- Sunbleak (Leucaspius delineatus)
- Tench (Tinca tinca) [1]
- Common roach (Rutilus rutilus)[4]
It has only one definitive host, the great cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo).[5]
