The Himal, or Himali Pradesh, is socioeconomic zone of Nepal. It lies in the northernmost part of the Himalayas that lies exclusively within Nepal. It represents a high-altitude region with some of the highest peaks in the world, including Mount Everest. Geographicallly it lies north of the Pahad region.
