Hara (also: Haraköy) is a village in the Fındıklı District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.^[1] Its population is 200 (2021).^[2]

History edit

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Xara, which means "cereal bowl". Most villagers are ethnically Laz.^[3]

The village is located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) away from Fındıklı.
