Halopteris (hydrozoan)

Halopteris is a genus of cnidarians belonging to the family Halopterididae[1] that has a cosmopolitan distribution.[1] The genus was first described in 1877 by Irish naturalist George James Allman, and the type species is Halopteris carinata.[2][3]
