Hailey Davidson (born November 10, 2000)[1] is an American professional soccer player from Prosper, Texas, who currently plays as a defender for the Dallas Trinity FC in the USL Super League.

College career

In 2018, Davidson began her college soccer career at the University of Oklahoma. As a freshman, she started 13 games for the Sooners. In her sophomore year, Davidson made 20 appearances, further establishing herself as a key player for the team.[2]

IIn 2020, Davidson transferred to the University of Pittsburgh and became a regular starter in the Panthers' backfield. In her final season with the Panthers in 2022, Davidson played a crucial role in leading the team to its most successful season in program history, achieving a total of 14 wins and their first NCAA women's soccer tournament appearance, where they lost to the Florida State Seminoles in the round of 16.[3]

Professional career

Davidson went undrafted in the 2023 NWSL Draft. She would later join Mallbacken of the Swedish Elittan before eventually signing with the Wellington Phoenix in New Zealand in August 2023 becoming the second ever American signee to play for the club after Hope Breslin.[1]

On June 3, 2024, Davidson agreed to join with the newly formed Dallas Trinity becoming the club's second signing after Amber Brooks in preparation for the inaugural USL Super League season.

Personal life

Davidson is a native of Prosper, Texas, and played for Prosper High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
