Guillaume Boudy, born June 20, 1964, in Monaco, is a senior French civil servant and politician, mayor of Suresnes since 2020 and master advisor to the Cour des Comptes.[1] Deputy mayor in charge of finances in Suresnes from 2014 to 2020, he took the head of the list for LR when Christian Dupuy did not stand for re-election. He is Secretary General for Investment from 2018 to 2022, a position attached to the Prime Minister's office. He was previously Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture and Communication.

Biography
editGuillaume Éric François Boudy was born on June 20, 1964, in Monaco. He is the son of André Boudy, lawyer, and Régine Cordier.[citation needed]
After secondary and higher education at the Lycée Albert Premier in Monaco and the Lycée Masséna in Nice, Guillaume Boudy continued his higher studies in Paris, where he obtained diplomas from HEC Paris and Sciences Po.[2]
Guillaume Boudy began his professional career in 1987 in Venezuela, as financial director of the Renault group. In 1991, he joined the École nationale d'administration (ENA) within the Léon Gambetta class of 1991-1993. He then served as an auditor at the Cour des Comptes for three years. From 1994 to 1996, he was also auditor of the UN World Food Program.[3]
In 1996, he was promoted to referendum advisor and in 2009, to master advisor.[citation needed]
From 1998 to 2000, he was commercial advisor to the French Embassy in Singapore.[citation needed]
A close colleague of Hervé Gaymard, he was appointed general director of services of the Savoie general council in 2001, when Gaymard was the chairman of the Savoie general council, and deputy cabinet director, when Gaymard was minister of agriculture in 2002–2004, and minister of finance and economy in 2004–2005. has happened. In 2005, he was appointed general manager of the Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie.[4]
He was the general secretary of the Ministry of Culture between 2008 and 2012, during the ministry of culture of Christine Albanel and Frédéric Mitterrand. In 2016, he was appointed director general of regional council services by Laurent Wauquiez, president of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional council.[5]
He was appointed by the Édouard Philippe Government in January 2018 and served as Secretary General for Investments between 2018 and 2022.[6]
He was a member of the municipal council of La Turbie in 2001–2007, a member of the municipal council of Suresnes in 2008–2014, deputy mayor of Suresnes (responsible for finance) in 2014–2020, and mayor of Suresnes from 2020. He was also elected as a member of the Hauts-de-Seine provincial council in 2021 and continues to serve as vice president of the Hauts-de-Seine provincial council.[7]
