The grey-capped hemispingus (Kleinothraupis reyi) is a species of bird in the family Thraupidae that is endemic to Venezuela.

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests where it is threatened by habitat loss.
Description edit
The species has a grey crown and does not have any supercilium. Upperparts are olive in colour and underparts are yellow.[2]
Habitat edit
It is found on elevations between 2,200 metres (7,200 ft) and 3,000 metres (9,800 ft).[2]
