editThe mosque is located in a converted church hall on Elmer Street North, directly next to Christ Church on Finkin Street.[2] It is also the main meeting place of the Grantham Muslim Community Association.[3] The mosque also runs a foodbank for the local homeless residents. The original proposal for the mosque came under fire by the English Defence League in 2014.[4]
