In 2015, Rovner participated in the organization of the India Inside project – a music album recorded by musicians from leading Russian symphony orchestras, as well as well-known British and Indian musicians. The project involved over 300 performers from all over the world, including two symphony orchestras, a Jewish choir, jazz musicians and other performers, who worked at six studios – in Moscow (Mosfilm), London (Real World Studios, AIR Studios, Strongroom Music Studios, Metropolis) and Mumbai (Yash Raj Films). A documentary of the same name was filmed, based on the materials of the project and on Rovner's symphonic work (directed by Alexander Smirnov, director of photography Valery Osmakov).[3]
In the spring of 2020, a limited edition vinyl record called Tesseract was released in Germany. It is based on the music of Gennady Rovner, improvised and performed by jazz pianist Leonid Chizhik.
