List of Ganguly–Durjoy Trophy series

edit

The Bangladesh Cricket Board and the Board of Control for Cricket in India decided in 2016 that all future bilateral tours would be linked to the Ganguly-Durjoy Trophy. The naming of the series, like other named series, has helped give an emotional and auspicious feel to the Test series between the two countries.

The first Ganguly-Durjoy Trophy was contested as a single match series in February 2017. Indian captain Virat Kohli top scored and claimed Man of the Series as India emerged victorious.

The second Ganguly-Durjo Trophy consisting of 2 Tests was played in November 2019. Apart from this , Bangladesh has played three T20Is . This is the first time that Bangladesh has played multiple matches in different formats in a bilateral series in India.
