Footage is an upcoming Malayalam-language thriller film directed by Saiju Sreedharan, marking his directorial debut. The film stars Manju Warrier in a prominent role, alongside Vishak Nair and Gayathri Ashok. [1] The film is a found-footage film, a format presenting the narrative through video recordings created by the characters themselves. [2][3] It is the second found footage movie in Malayalam after Nirmal Baby Varghese's Vazhiye.[4]

The film is produced by Bineesh Chandran and Saiju Sreedharan under the banners of Movie Bucket, Pale Blue Dot Films, Cast n Co Entertainments.[5] The movie is co-produced by Rahul Rajeev and Suraj Menon, and presented by Anurag Kashyap.[6]

The film features original soundtracks by an Indian post-rock band Aswekeepsearching.

On 12 July, the teaser of film was premiered on YouTube which crossed millions of views.[7][8] The movie is marketed by a Kochi-based movie marketing company, Hytz.[citation needed]
