Norwegian flag edit

The flag used for Norway is incorrect. It is in fact the flag of Sweden during the union with Norway, which obviously has never been the flag of Norway. In 1914 the independent Kingdom of Norway had for some time used the flag below. -- Nidator T / C 10:43, 20 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

What's Norway even doing on this map? They didn't have any colonies in 1914. Svalbard shouldn't really be marked as Norway either, as it wasn't internationally recognized as Norwegian territory until after WWI (Svalbard Treaty). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.228.139.0 (talk) 00:34, 19 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Consistency edit

China is grey on map with the argument that China was not an empire at the time, but a Republic. However, The USA was not an empire in 1914 either, but is still coloured. Both nations had holdings that were unattached to their contiguous borders, so either China should be coloured, or the USA should not be. Lack of consistency is lack of trustworthiness. 2602:306:BC1C:8AB0:2C8A:275D:B3FD:E512 (talk) 16:51, 30 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Flag of Austria-Hungary edit

The flag used for Austria-Hungary is incorrect. The flag shown is not the flag of Austria-Hungary but of the Austrian Empire which only existed until 1867. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.115.73.10 (talk) 01:26, 17 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Togoland edit

@The- and Offa29: Miscolouring Spain to be part of Italy wasn't the only colouring issue with your map. The map now also shows Togoland as a colony of Belgium, rather than the correct German Empire. -Coreydragon (talk) 04:20, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Coreydragon: Thank you for bringing that to my attention. It's fixed now. Offa29 (talk) 00:03, 14 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
