Why on Earth are Icelandic and Faroese sharing the same colour? The languages are from being intelligible, so they should have separate colours. Mulder1982 (talk) 22:03, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
- They are both coloured green, but not the same green. The Faeroese is closer to the Scandinavian blue, which does resemble its position between the two. The fact that they are often mutually unintelligible for the most part when spoken says little; a Swede from Stockholm probably doesn't understand much of spoken Copenhagen Danish. The colour of Norwegian is too similar to that of Danish, IMO. The two may be very close in written form, but the pronunciation of Norwegian and many of its grammatical and lexical features are closer to Swedish.--91.148.159.4 (talk) 12:10, 15 October 2011 (UTC)
