I don't understand how this track is claimed to be in the public domain. Your citation explicitly notes that the Air Force Heritage of America Band [very frustratingly...] played a transcription by Merlin Patterson. I have found nothing to indicate that Mr. Patterson has ever been employed by the government or even contracted to the government and there is also no other indication that his arrangement is in the public domain. I wish it were different. (Is it? I don't think so, but I would love to be told that I'm wrong - and for whomever tells me that to actually be correct.) -WYHS
