Description
English: This print depicts two mythological scenes contained within decorative, rococo borders. A. Quentin, editor and printer. This print reproduces two over-door panels, "Vénus au bain" and "Mercure donnant des leçons à l'Amour," by François Boucher (1703-1770) (1738, Archive Nationales: Hôtel de Soubise, Paris). Both panels are painted in oil paint. The panels are found in La salle d'assemblée and La petite chambre à coucher de la princesse, respectively.
