English: Reactionary and racist pro-imperialist cartoon from the Cape Lantern. Attacking liberal leader Saul Solomon as being the manipulator of the principal anti-imperialist leaders of southern Africa. The depicted pets are Zulu King Cetshwayo, the Beaufort lion John Molteno and the monkey John X Merriman in the background.
