Etymology
editThe species name sudetica means from Sudetes.
Distribution
editThis species can be found in most of Europe, except Ireland, Great Britain, the Benelux, Portugal and most of the Balkan Peninsula.[1]
Description
editEudonia sudetica has a wingspan of 17–21 mm.[2] The forewings are whitish with brown markings.
Biology
editThe larvae live from October to May feeding on moss[2] on rocks or trees.[3]
