Duripelta paringa is a species of Orsolobidae. The species is endemic to New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
editThis species was described in 1985 by Ray Forster and Norman Platnick from male and female specimens collected in Westland. The holotype is stored in Otago Museum.[1]
Description
editThe male is recorded at 1.68mm in length whereas the female is 2.12mm. This species has markings on the dorsal surface of the abdomen.[1]
Distribution
editThis species is only known from Westland, New Zealand.[1]
Conservation status
editUnder the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as "Not Threatened".[2]
