This express train is slated to be inaugurated on September 16, 2024[3] by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video-conferencing from Jamshedpur in Jharkhand.[4][5]

editThis train will be operated by Indian Railways, connecting Durg Jn and Visakhapatnam Jn.[6] It will be operated on 6 days a week basis.
Rakes
editIt will be the upcoming 2nd Generation Vande Bharat 2.0 Express train which will be designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[7]
