Draft Edit edit

Thank you User:Gobonobo for your contributions to this draft. I am wondering if we can reword something. I tend to think “career wrecker” is too strong of language.

I have some ideas of how we can work with this information.

While NASA does not discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity,[1][2] Michael Cassutt writes the lack of openly LGBTQ astronauts may reflect the culture of NASA’s astronaut office.[3]

or

Michael Cassutt has written that coming out could impact the careers of astronauts.

Thoughts on this?

Thanks!

@TenorTwelve: Feel free to reword it however you'd like. Given that this is a list with three members, I think the bigger issue is demonstrating that the topic meets notability guidelines. Per WP:NLIST, the "topic is considered notable is if it has been discussed as a group or set by independent reliable sources", so having more on-topic references and prose in the article will help if/when the article is nominated for deletion. gobonobo + c 13:24, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
