This page should not be speedily deleted because it does not serve solely to promote its subject, and because the subject is noteworthy.

The facts presented do not objectively promote the subject; they are the facts most relevant to the subject's history and those most likely to be of interest to readers.

The subject is noteworthy because it is recognized at a national level. By comparison, there are five Stanford University a cappella groups with their own individual (and significantly longer) Wikipedia pages.

@Robertakarobin: I'm sending this to the draftspace to give you time to work on it. However I do need to mention that this was previously deleted at AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Fleet Street Singers. The thing about competing nationally is that this doesn't always guarantee notability, so you'll need to show where they've received coverage in independent and reliable sources. It all depends on whether or not they've won and how notable the competitions were, which usually translates into coverage in places like newspapers and the like.
